Britney Spears sparked mental health crisis concerns after being pictured barefoot and topless outside the Chateau Marmont in the early hours of Thursday, May 2, following an alleged fight with Paul Soliz. 

The singer, 42, had abrasions on her knees and looked disheveled as she stepped out flanked by her security her and felon Paul.

It has been claimed that Britney and Paul - who she is rumoured to have dated - got into a row before a woman matching Britney's description was 'harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests.' 

While Britney insisted in February that she was single, she has been linked to Paul in recent months following her split from husband Sam Asghari.

Paul, 37, and Britney have known each other since he was hired to complete housekeeping tasks and maintenance around her house about a year ago, according to US weekly. 

Speaking to the publication he revealed he fixed bits and bobs around the house including fixing doorknobs and unclogging toilets.

Insiders told Page Six that Paul was fired from his job working for Britney, but she had 'still chosen to spend time with' him 'and is not trying to hide their new-found friendship.' 

In August Britney was seen driving a white Mercedes-Benz with a mystery man who is thought to be Paul in her passenger seat in Calabasas, California.

That same month, her husband Sam is said to have filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences', which led to Britney enjoying a dalliance with her former housekeeper. 

An insider told DailyMail.com in September that the pair weren't officially dating, clarifying: 'They had a short fling after Sam left but that was it.

'Britney hooked up with him twice and, at the time, [she] did not know about his criminal past. She no longer has any communication with him.' 

According to legal records reviewed by the US Weekly, Paul was convicted in connection with disturbing the peace in of April 2014; and entered into a plea deal for a child endangerment charge to be dismissed.

In 2016 Paul was convicted of driving without a license, the outlet reported, citing court docs. A charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed that year after a plea agreement, according to Page Six. 

In December 2020 Paul was convicted in connection of felony firearm possession, during a time he was working for the singer.

Also in September 2023, Paul was seen at the San Fernando Superior Court after allegedly violating his probation. 

Despite his past, Paul insisted that he isn't a 'bad dude' in an interview with Backgrid last September. 

He confessed he has a 'handful of children' and that the mother of his children has passed away. 

'I have custody of my children, I'm not a bad dude. I own my own business. I do license contractor technique tile.' 

He also disclosed that one of his children is in a 5150 hold, which is a legal code which allows a person with a mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalisation. 

Paul confirmed at that the time of the interview that he was still seeing Britney and that the singer had been incredibly supportive throughout the court proceedings of his criminal convictions.

He said: 'She's a very positive person,' adding he wasn't at liberty to confirm if him and Britney were an official couple. 

Supporting his rumoured girlfriend amid her divorce, the housekeeper said: 'She's doing great,' while also telling US Weekly that she is a 'phenomenal woman.' 

In February this year, the Toxic hitmaker shut down rumors that she was dating Paul in an Instagram video.

Alongside a reel of the star showing off her dance skills, Britney penned that she is a 'hopeless romantic understanding that being single is awesome.' 

Days earlier, a source claimed to Us Weekly that 'Britney and Paul are definitely together.'

'He’s still in the picture,' the insider insisted while another alleged they have been quietly taking take road trips to Santa Barbara and that he spends 'two or three nights a week' at her place.

'She doesn’t like it when he leaves,' the second source told the outlet. '[Britney] feels as though she deserves more attention, but he has to be there for his kids.'

Britney has reportedly met his children, who are said to 'like her.'

She was seen by Paul's side in April when they sat inside a Mercedes SUV on the side of a road, as per photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

While Paul was sitting in front of the steering wheel, Britney sat in the passenger seat and was slouched down on the red leather material before kicking up her heels onto the dashboard, and cracking the windshield on her side. 

She also spent the evening with Paul at Chateau Marmot in April, with the pair said to have been caught up in a huge row before
